Symptom
Unit doesn't respond
AC adaptor isn't plugged into a wall outlet
(no power)
or the connector is not plugged into the
power supply jack on the back of the unit

Trouble Shooting

Possible Problem
Solution
Plug the AC adaptor into a wall outlet and plug the
connector into the supply jack on the unit
Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm the
outlet is working
Remove your Sansa from the dock and check for
obstruction on the connectors in the dock and on your
Sansa. Then reseat it in the dock.
Replace with new batteries
Check to make sure the polarity ( + and – ends) matches
the diagram in the battery compartment
Remove your Sansa from the dock and check for
obstruction on the connectors in the dock and on your
Sansa. Then reseat it in the dock.
Upgrade software on your Sansa. For details visit
http://www.sandisk.com
Please make sure your Sansa is working properly before
docking into the unit. Please refer to your Sansa manual
for details.
You may need to pres play twice to get the Sansa in play
mode. Also, if your Sansa is "asleep", it may tke up to 15
seconds for it to awaken and respond to input
