Vertical Shooting
The bottom of the camera provides a shutter button, <6> Main Dial,
<S> AF point selection button, <A> AE Lock button, <p> AF
Start button, and <I> FE lock/Multi-spot metering button all for
vertical shooting.
Adjusting the Viewfinder Clarity
If the camera's dioptric adjustment still cannot provide a sharp viewfinder
image, using Dioptric Adjustment Lens Eg (optional) is recommended.
Before using the vertical shooting
controls, set the vertical operation on/
off switch to <1>.
When not using the vertical shooting
controls, set the switch to <2> to
prevent accidental operation.
Remove the eyecup.

While grasping both sides of the
eyecup, slide it upward to remove.
Turn the dioptric adjustment

knob.
Turn the knob to the right or left until
the AF points or the center spot
metering circle looks sharp in the
viewfinder.
Attach the eyecup.
