Problem
Cube dispenser
does not work

Possible Causes
Icemaker turned off or
water supply turned off.
Ice cubes are frozen to
icemaker feeler arm.
Irregular ice clumps in
storage container.
Water dispenser has not
been used for a long time.
Poor-tasting incoming water.
Water supply line turned
off or not connected.
Air may be trapped in the
water system.
Water in reservoir
is frozen.
Supply line or shutoff
valve is clogged.
Foods transmitting
odor to refrigerator.
Interior needs cleaning.
Not unusual during
periods of high humidity.
What To Do
Turn on icemaker or
water supply.
Remove cubes and move
the feeler arm to the
ON (down) position.
Break up with fingertip
pressure and discard
remaining clumps.
Freezer may be too warm.
Adjust the freezer control
to a colder setting, one
position at a time, until
clumps do not form.
Dispense water until
all water in system is
replenished.
Install a water filter.

Press the dispenser pad
for at least two minutes.
Call for service.
Call a plumber.
Foods with strong odors
should be tightly wrapped.
Keep an open box of baking
soda in the refrigerator;
replace every three months.

Wipe surface dry.
