condensing boiler with fully-modulating
output of up to 35kW.
How FlowSmart works
When there is a demand for DHW, mains cold water flows into the GasSaver, where its temperature is raised using
heat reclaimed from boiler flue gases.

GasSaver
Captures and stores heat from boiler
flue gases, using it to pre-heat cold mains
water before it enters the boiler.

Thermal store
Uses heat from the primary system to
further raise the temperature of the
water pre-heated by the GasSaver.
This pre-heated water then passes
through a copper coil heat exchanger in
the thermal store, where it is heated
further by surrounding hot water from
the primary system.
The water then passes through a
blending valve, where it is controlled to

30ºC, before entering the boiler.
With less work to do to raise the

water's temperature, the boiler is able
to satisfy heavy DHW demands for long
periods, without detrimental effect to
flow rate.
