Troubleshooting Tips
Problem
Frequent cycling
off and on of
surface units
The display goes
blank or indicator
lights come on
when range is
not in use
Oven light does not work
Oven will not work

Possible Causes
Improper cookware
being used.
Power surge.
Light bulb is loose
or defective.
Switch operating light
is broken.
Plug on range is not
completely inserted in
the electrical outlet.
A fuse in your home
may be blown or the
circuit breaker tripped.
Oven controls
improperly set.
Door left in the
locked position.
What To Do
Use only flat cookware
to minimize cycling.
Disconnect power at the
fuse box or circuit breaker
for at least 10 seconds.
Turn power on and power
up your range. If the
indicator lights are still on,
call for service.
Tighten or replace
the bulb.
Call for service.
Make sure electrical plug is
plugged into a live, properly
grounded outlet.
Replace fuse or reset
circuit breaker.

If necessary, allow the
oven to cool then unlock
the door.
