Single Line Telephone - Flash

Single Line Telephones and similar analog devices uses a Hook-switch Flash or Flash button
to administer call-processing operations like transfer and hold. This fundamental call con-
trol is handled in the form of specific hook-switch operations. These are known as Hook-
switch Flash or just Flash commands.

Speed Dial (ABBR) – Extension /System

The Speed Dial feature allows users to store frequently dialed numbers. Each extension
may store up to twenty (20) personal numbers 500 - 519 in the speed dial directory. At
default, extensions only have access to ten speed bins but they may be increased to
twenty, as long as the system has not used it maximum of 1000 total speed bins.
Single Line Telephones can also store up to 20 station speed bins using the #1 feature
code. To dial a speed bin a Single Line Telephone uses the *1 feature code.
