Drive SCSI ID
The SCSI address for the drive.

Element ID
The element is a location or component inside the library.
The element ID (or address) directs the robotic arm. The robotic arm responds to the SCSI element ID (or
address).
Ethernet Address
An Ethernet address is a unique number that is pre-assigned to the library. This address cannot be changed.
Expired Status
Cleaning cartridges have a limited life span. After multiple uses, a cleaning cartridge must be replaced and
disposed of at your site.
Fast Load
Fast Load adjusts the robot's timing during cartridge mount operations.
Valid choices are:

Enabled:
When enabled, the robot loads a tape into a drive, and then immediately performs its next task. It
does not wait for the tape drive to complete its mounting cycle.
é
Disabled:
When disabled, the robot waits at the drive location until the tape is fully mounted before
beginning its next task.
Note: Some client software does not support the Fast Load feature. Consult your System Administrator
before enabling this feature.
Firmware
Explanation
You must initialize this drive.
This drive is not connected to a SCSI bus.
There are no cartridges in this drive.
The library does not recognize the type of drive in this location.
