Please read the following information about supported operating systems and support notes.
Supported Operating Systems for the cc3310 Carrier Grade Server
At this printing, HP supports these operating systems for the cc3310 Carrier Grade Server:
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 2.1 Advanced Server (Kernel 2.4.9-e.24 and higher).
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 Enterprise Server (Kernel 2.4.21-4.EL and higher: AS and ES versions).
• Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Advanced Server (Service Pack 3 and higher): See Note below.
• Microsoft Windows 2003 Advanced Server: See Note below.

Support notes contain critical information that should be read prior to installing any operating system on the
HP cc3310 Carrier Grade Server.
The latest information on all supported operating systems and the corresponding support notes can be found

NOTE Windows 2000 Advanced Server and Windows 2003 Advanced Server require a unique "user
developed and customized" installation CD. Instructions on how to build this CD can be found
