When you set up a TRILL network, avoid the case that multiple TRILL neighbors are established for
one RB port, as shown in
Figure 4
shows a typical network where two TRILL neighbors are established for the same port
of an RB.
In
Figure
5, because TRILL is not enabled on the port connecting RB2 to RB3, the port will
transparently transmit the TRILL Hello frames from RB3. As a result, two TRILL neighbors are
established for the port connecting RB1 to RB2.

After you enable TRILL on a port, TRILL can operate correctly by using default settings. A port with TRILL
enabled is called a "TRILL port."
To enable TRILL:

Enter system view.

Enable TRILL globally
and enter TRILL view.

Return to system view.
Enter Ethernet or
