E Tip: If your Digital Pocket Memo supports fast recharging through the USB cable, you do
not need to use the power supply. The connected PC must support the USB specification
(500mA) and needs to be on during the charging process.

Transfer dictation files to a PC

Make sure that the docking station is connected to the PC with the USB cable.

Switch on the Digital Pocket Memo by moving the On/Off switch to the

Insert the Digital Pocket Memo into the docking slot of the docking station and press it down

firmly until it locks.
Depending on the device and software settings, the file transfer either starts automatically

(to a pre-defined destination path), or must be activated through
software application of your system integrator.
When the files have successfully transferred, the Digital Pocket Memo will indicate to that it is

OK to disconnect, and you can remove the Digital Pocket Memo from the docking station.
Important: Do not remove or switch off the Digital Pocket Memo while the file transfer is

in progress, otherwise your dictation files may be damaged.
