Disconnect the accessory
Touch the NFC area of the accessory again.

Attach the wrist strap or lanyard

Thread the strap or lanyard through one hole and back out from the other, thread the
strap or lanyard through the loop, and pull to tighten.

Your phone has a built-in user guide. It's always with you, available when needed.
Select User guide.
