Low Voltage Batteries

The XV Crosstrek Hybrid contains two sealed lead-acid 12 Volt batteries.
12 Volt Auxiliary Battery
The 12 Volt auxiliary battery powers the vehicle's electrical system similar to a conventional

vehicle. As with conventional vehicles, the negative terminal of the 12 Volt auxiliary battery is
grounded to the metal chassis of the vehicle.
The 12 Volt auxiliary battery is located in the driver side of the engine compartment.
