Lights up:
The Assist system has failed or is malfunc‐
tioning.
Lights up in red:
Engine malfunction
Lights up in yellow:
Full engine power is no longer available.
Indication in US models:
Warning lamp flashes:
Engine malfunction under high load. High en‐
gine load will result in damage to the catalytic
converter.
Warning lamp comes on:
Engine malfunction with an adverse effect on
exhaust emissions.
Indication in Canadian models:

How to respond
Have the system checked as
soon as possible.

engine. You cannot continue
your journey. Contact your serv‐
ice center.
