Using the Zoom
Use optical zoom to get closer to your subject before taking a picture or video. (If the
zoom button is pressed during video recording, then digital zoom is used.)
1 Use the LCD to frame your subject. (For focus distances, see
page
59.)
2 To zoom in, turn the zoom clockwise, aiming the pointer at T (Telephoto "+"). To
zoom out, turn the zoom counter-clockwise, aiming the pointer at W (Wide Angle
"-").
3 Take the picture or video.
NOTE: To get a focused picture every time, use the Focus brackets
