To Record From External Source

Preparations:
1. Please connect this DVD Recorder to your TV, and connect outer equipment to this DVD
Recorder. (For details please refer to the Quick Guide.)
2. Remember to use an open and recordable DVD+RW or DVD+R disc.

Turn on this DVD Recorder and external equipment.

Press EJECT to open the disc tray.

Place a recordable DVD+RW or DVD+R onto the disc tray.
Hold the disc without touching its surface, position it with the printed title facing up, align
it with the guides, and place it in its proper position.

Press EJECT again to close the disc tray.
If you use an unused DVD+RW or DVD+R disc, the fi rst reading will take about few
seconds. If this DVD Recorder reads a new DVD disc, you will be asked to format the disc
following the screen. If this DVD Recorder reads a used DVD disc, a Title menu will show
the available title for play and available space left for recording.

Press TV DVDR on the remote control to switch to TV mode.
You will see "Live" appear on the TV screen.

Press SOURCE on the remote control to toggle different
external A/V input sources.
Press SOURCE repeatedly to scroll through various A/V input, including: TV,
Scart, CVBS1, CVBS2, S-Video1, and S-Video2.

Press REC/OTR on the remote control to start to record.
"REC" will appear on the TV screen.

Press STOP on the remote control to stop recording.
"WAIT" will appear on the TV screen, and wait until "LIVE" appear on the TV screen. "LIVE"
showing on the TV screen means re cord ing has completed. Note: This may take up to 1
minute to complete.

Press TV DVDR on the remote control to switch to DVD
mode.
You will see the "DVD" appears on the screen following by the title menu as the illustra-
tion at right.

Press to play back the preferred recordings.
It can show three title boxes on the TV screen at one time. If there are more than three
title boxes, press to next title box.
To stop recording
Press PAUSE.
To resume recording
