If a USB memory device/Portable audio player (iDA-X313 only) or

back.
• In the USB mode, when this unit is reset, ACC is switched from OFF

displayed for several seconds.
Using the USB Memory Banking Function
1. What is a Bank?
A bank is a unit of up to 1,000 songs, which is stored in memory.
"Banking" refers to the grouping of songs available in USB memory, in
banks of 1,000 songs each.
2. About Banking
While a bank is being built up, "BANKING" is displayed. Banking
occurs whenever a USB memory device is connected or after power to
the head unit turns on.
It can take anywhere from a few seconds to up to 10 minutes for
banking to complete. This depends on the number of files and folders in
USB memory.
3. Available operations while Banking
• Search functions, such as album search or tag information (artist
display, etc.) are available. However, during Banking, the
information display changes so the VIEW operation is not available.
• With a song playing, Regular fast-forwarding and next song selection
is available.
• While Banking, the song playback order may differ from the song
order in the USB memory device.
