Spelling the Name
If you know the name of the location you
are looking for, you can spell it using the
on-screen keyboard. You can also enter
letters contained in the name to narrow
the search.

Using the On-Screen
Keyboard
When you drive faster than
approximately 5 miles per hour (8
kilometers per hour) and try to use the
keyboard, a message appears asking
if you are the driver of the vehicle. If
you answer "yes," the keyboard will be
disabled. If a passenger is operating the
nüvi and answers "no," the keyboard
will be usable.
