Check installation of driver's floor mat
Inspect and adjust all fluid levels
Replace engine oil and oil filter
Rotate tires
Visually inspect brake linings/drums and
brake pads/discs

Driving on dirt roads or dusty roads:
Inspect ball joints and dust covers
Inspect drive shaft boots (4WD)
Inspect engine air filter
Inspect steering linkage and boots
Lubricate propeller shaft (4WD models
and all Prerunners with 4 cylinder

Re-torque propeller shaft bolt
Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis and
body
Driving while towing, using a car-top
carrier, or heavy vehicle loading
Lubricate propeller shaft (4WD models

Re-torque propeller shaft bolt
Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis and
body

roads or in urban, dusty or desert areas
may shorten the life of the cabin air
filter. Replacement may be needed if
you notice reduced air flow from the air
conditioner and heater or if the
windows fog easily when you use the
Fresh mode. Consult your dealer if
any of these conditions occur.
