The imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000 PRO Series addresses a multitude of printing needs, including high-volume printing, mixed media printing, and
variable data printing. It boasts the most current state-of-the-art digital printing technology and exceptional ease of use, delivering high-quality customer
satisfaction.
High-Speed Data Processing
LIPS LX is Canon's proprietary printing
technology. With LIPS LX, load is
balanced out between PCs and the
controller, as PCs assume the task of
image rendering and the controller
processes rendered images for printing to
the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000
PRO Series. It is higher-speed and
higher-performing than ever, achieving the
fastest speed in class of up to 70 pages
per minute in color and up to 75 pages per
minute* in black-and-white.
* For the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075 PRO. For the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9065 PRO, up to 60 pages
per minute in color and up to 65 pages per minute in black-and-white.
Evolving Scanning Capabilities - Higher-Speed and Higher Quality
The scanner features calibration capabilities to minimize inaccuracies in
gradation and density on both sides of paper, in order to achieve higher-speed
and higher-quality scanning.
Paper Drawers – Custom Size Support
Custom-sized stocks can be loaded
into the paper drawers by entering
the dimensions from the device
control panel. These drawers can
hold more sheets than the Stack
Bypass and reduce the number of
times that users need to reload
stocks. This significantly enhances
productivity. When the optional
Multi-Drawer Paper Deck Unit-A is
installed, the deck can hold up to
6,600 sheets.
Versatile Accessory Options for Production Printing
Multi-Drawer Paper Deck Unit-A1
The unti has three paper
drawers with a paper
capacity of 6,600 sheets
(64 g/m2), supporting a
full range of paper types
including coated, heavy,
and thin paper as well as
custom page sizes. The
Enhanced Air Assist and double-feed detection
systems are provided to reduce paper friction
and prevent multiple pages from being fed at a
time, ensuring reliable, high-speed paper
handling.
Document Insertion Unit-H1
The unit has two output trays with a 200-sheet
capacity per tray. It is compactly designed but
supports custom sizes as well as standard
sizes up to 13" x 19".
Paper Folding Unit-G1
The unit can produce C-folds, Z-folds, V-folds,
half-folds, and zigzag-folds, to save users the
effort of manually folding sheets to enclose
within envelopes. It is also capable of inserting
A3-size pages between A4-size pages.

Booklet Finisher-A1/Staple Finisher-A1
The finisher delivers advanced in-line finishing
capabilities, with a 4,250-sheet output capacity, to meet
volume printing needs. It provides a 100-sheet staple
capacity (64 g/m2) and a 20-sheet (or 80 pages) saddle
stitch capacity, supporting collating, grouping, offsetting,
stapling + collating, and saddle stitching functions.
Punch Unit-BE1 (2/3 Hole)
The unit can be installed into either the Booklet
Finisher-A1 or Staple Finisher-A1 to provide punching
capabilities to register 2 punch holes on the output,
supporting A3, A4, B4, and B5 sizes.
Inner Booklet Trimmer-A1
The unit can be installed into either the Booklet
Finisher-A1, supporting all the paper sizes and types
supported by the Booklet Finisher-A1. It is capable of
trimming the edges of pages of the finished book to a
common edge to adjust shingling.
ColorPASS-GX300
This is a Canon/EFI standalone controller targeting
CRD and Print-For-Pay environments, featuring a
high-speed RIP that enables advanced workflow and
color management capabilities to best address the
need of the Print on demand (POD) market.
* ColorPASS-GX300 is optional on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000 PRO
Series and C7000 PRO Series.
Versatile Paper Type Support
The paper drawers can hold up to 52 to 220 g/m
Bypass can hold up to 52 to 300 g/m
Stack Bypass support a full range of paper types including plain, recycled,
heavy, bond, coated, and tab paper.
Automatic and Reciprocal Color Density Adjustment Technology (ARCDAT)
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000 PRO Series utilizes the Automatic and
Reciprocal Color Density Adjustment Technology (ARCDAT). It detects the
patches onto the surface of the transfer belt to calibrate at all lines per inch in
real time. It is capable of measuring the absolute values of inaccuracies in
gradation and density by using color patches registered on the transfer belt
surface so toner density is adjusted in real time, which helps to render images
more faithfully without compromising the overall productivity.
Automatic Gradation Adjustment
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000 PRO Series provides the Automatic
Gradation Adjustment feature that can be accessed from the device touch panel
to perform manual calibration. It adjusts the maximum density and halftones by
printing test charts stored in memory onto 4 sheets so the scanner can read the
sheets to measure the actual maximum density for precise calibration. It
ensures optimal toner density control, accurate registration, and precise dot
placement, minimizing inaccuracies for high-volume printing as well as for
printing additional copies at a later time. Misprints can be reduced significantly.
Air Assist Paper Feeding Mechanism
The optional POD Deck Kite-A1 and Multi-Drawer Paper Deck Unit-A1 utilize
the Enhanced Air Assist technology to reduce paper friction between all the
sheets in their respective drawers. The paper separation is greatly enhanced,
making paper pick up much easier and more reliable. The Multi-Drawer Paper
Deck Unit-A1 also utilizes the double-feed detection technology to detect a
narrow intersheet spacing between the sheets to reduce paper jams.
