Report any damage to your dealer or nearest Defy Service Centre. They will be able to take the necessary corrective action. Do not tamper with or attempt to bypass the door safety interlocks. -

Examine the oven for any damage. ( A misaligned door, a dent in the cabinet) If damaged, do not operate the oven and notify your dealer or the nearest Defy Ser- vice Centre immediately. The oven must be placed on a suitable flat, level and stable surface capable of sup- porting the weight of the product. - Page 4 Features Door Safety Interlock system: When the door is opened, the oven magnetron will automati- cally shut off and the oven will not function until the door is closed again. Door viewing screen: Allows light but not microwave energy to pass through. Door hooks: These are part of the door safety interlock system.

Operation. Insert the 3 pin plug into an earthed 15Amp wall socket and switch on the power. Open the door. Ensure that the glass tray, and roller guide are in position. Place the food in a microwave approved cooking utensil and place it centrally on the glass tray. -

Cooking utensils Only use utensils suitable for use in microwave ovens. Never use metal cookware or dinnerware with metal or gold foil. Arcing may occur which could damage the oven and the dish. Do not leave teaspoons, forks or metal skewers in the microwave oven Do not use wire twisters on paper or plastic bags in the oven. -

SERVICE CENTRES IF YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS AND STILL HAVE A PROBLEM, CONTACT THE NEAREST DEFY SERVICE CENTRE. THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ADVISE YOU ON ANY ASPECT OF THE PRODUCT OR SEND A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN TO REPAIR IT. -
