HL-i series Digital Compact Scale
Operating Instructions
Cautions
Avoid installing the scale in direct sunlight.
Avoid over / shock load that could cause damage to the scale.
Use the scale under conditions of -10°C to 40°C, less than 85% R.H.
The weighing pan cannot be removed. Do not pull up on it.
Do not mix the battery types. Replace all of the batteries at same time.
If the scale is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the all batteries.
Use only the specified AC adapter for the scale (AC adapter is optional).

Installing batteries / Connecting the AC adapter
Installing / Replacing Batteries
Remove the battery cover and insert 4 batteries (AA size)
Battery cover
into the battery housing, especially take care of the
polarities. Attach the battery cover again.
Peel off the seal here
AC adapter (optional)
Peel off the seal on the battery cover to thread
the AC adapter wire through. Plug the AC
adapter to the AC adapter jack inside the
battery housing. Attach the battery cover again.

Weighing procedures
1. Turn on / off the scale
Press the ON:OFF key to turn on the scale. The scale displays all segments for a
few seconds and then displays zero.
Press the key again to turn the scale off.

2. Select the weighing unit
Press the key to select a weighing unit.

3. Weighing
Verify the reading is zero. If not, press the key to zero the display.
RE-ZERO
If you use a container for weighing, place an empty container on the weighing pan and
press the key to zero the display.
RE-ZERO
Place the objects to be weighed on the pan or in the container. When the reading
becomes stable, the STABLE indicator is displayed.
Note
Automatic power-off function
If the scale is left ON and the STABLE indicator is displayed, the automatic
power-off function turns the scale off after approximately 5 minutes.
To disable or enable this function, press the key while pressing the
ON:OFF
key. When the scale is turned on, (XXX = 1.00 etc.) is
RE-ZERO XXX
displayed and this function is disabled. If is not displayed, then the
XXX
function is enabled.
Error message
a Overload. Remove the objects from the pan.
a Low battery. Replace the batteries with new ones.

Balance compacte numérique de série HL-i
Remarques
Evitez d'installer la balance directement au soleil.
Evitez une charge excessive et /ou choc qui pourrait causer des dommages à la balance.
Utilisez la balance dans les conditions de -10°C à 40°C, au-dessous de 85% H.R.
Le plateau de pesage ne peut pas être déplacé. Ne le tirez pas en haut.
Ne mélangez pas de types de piles. Remplacez toutes les piles en même temps.
Si la balance n'est pas utilisée pendant une longue période, enlevez toutes les piles.
N'utilisez que l'adapteur à courant continu pour la balance. (L'adapteur à courant continu
est optionnel).

Mise en place des piles / Mise en marche de l'adapteur à
courant continu
Mise en place / Remplacement des piles
Enlevez la couverture des piles et insérez 4 piles (Dimension AA) dans le logement des
piles, particulièrement prenez soin des polarités. Remettre la couverture des piles

Ôtez le scellé sur la couverture des piles afin
de passer le fil de l'adapteur à courant
continu. Intercalez l'adapteur à courant
continu dans la fiche femelle à l'intérieur du
logement des piles. Remettre la couverture
des piles.

Procédures de pesage
1. Faire marcher et arrêter la balance
Appuyez sur la clef pour faire marcher la balance. La balance affiche tous les
ON:OFF
segments pendant quelques secondes et puis indique zéro.
Appuyez sur la clef de nouveau pour arrêter la balance.

2. Choisir une unité de pesage
Appuyez sur la clef pour choisir une unité de pesage.

3. Pesage
Vérifiez que la lecture est bien zéro. Si non, appuyez sur la clef
l'affichage à zéro.
Si vous utilisez un récipient pour pesage, placez le récipient vide sur le plateau de pesage
et appuyez sur la clef RE-ZERO pour mettre l'affichage à zéro.
Placez les objets devant être pesés sur le plateau de pesage ou dans le récipient. Quand
la lecture devient stable, l'indicateur STABLE est affiché.
Note
Fonction d'arrêt de puissance automatique
Si la balance est laissée ON (en marche) et l'indicateur STABLE
d'arrêt de puissance automatique fait arrêter la balance après approximativement 5
minutes.
Pour mettre hors de service ou en marche cette fonction, appuyez sur la clef
pendant que vous appuyez sur la clef
ON:OFF
marche, (XXX = 1.00 etc.) est affiché et cette fonction est mise hors de service. Si

n'est pas indiqué, alors la fonction est en marche.

Warnungen
Die Waage nicht im direkten Sonnenlicht aufstellen.
Überlast / Stoßlast vermeiden, die die Waage beschädigen kann.
Die Waage bei einer Temperatur zw. -10°C und 40°C und einer relativen Luftfeuchtigkeit
niedriger als 85% verwenden.
Die Waageschale läßt sich nicht demontieren. Versuchen Sie nicht diese abzuziehen.
Unterschiedliche Batterietypen nicht mischen. Alle Batterien gleichzeitig austauschen.
Die Batterien herausnehmen, wenn die Waage für einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt
wird.
Nur den für die Waage bestimmten AC-Adapter verwenden (AC-Adapter ist eine Option).

Batterieeinbau / AC-Adapteranschluß
Batterieeinbau / - austausch
Den Batteriedeckel entfernen und 4 Batterien (Größe AA) ins Batteriegehäuse einsetzen,
wobei besonders auf die Polaritäten zu achten ist. Den Batteriedeckel wieder montieren.
AC-Adapter (Option)
Die Versiegelung am Batteriedeckel
abziehen, um die AC-Adapterleitung

Wiegeablauf
1. Waage ein/ausschalten
Die Taste drücken, um die Waage einzuschalten. Die Waage zeigt alle

2. Wiegeeinheit wählen
Die Taste UNITS drücken, um eine Wiegeeinheit.

3. Wiegen
Vergewisserm Sie sich, daß Null angezeigt ist. Wenn nicht, drücken Sie die Taste
um die Anzeige auf Null zu stellen.
RE-ZERO
Bei Verwendung eines Behälters, den leeren Behälter auf die Waagschale setzen und die
RE-ZERO pour mettre
Taste RE-ZERO drücken, um die Anzeige auf Null zu stellen.
Den zu wiegenden Gegenstand auf die Schale oder in den Behälter legen. Wenn die
Ablesung stabil wird, wird das Symbol STABLE
Note
Automatische Ausschaltfunktion
Wenn die Waage eingeschaltet bleibt und das Symbol STABLE
Waage in ca. 5 Minuten automatisch ausgeschaltet.

Precauciones
Evite instalar la balanza en un lugar con luz solar directa.
Evite la sobrecarga o choque que pueda causar daños a la balanza.
Utilice la balanza bajo las condiciones de -10°C a 40°C, con una humedad relativa de
menos de 85%.
El plato de medición no se puede retirar. No intente sacarlo.
No mezcle las pilas antiguas con las nuevas. Reemplace las pilas al mismo tiempo.
Si no ha de utilizar la balanza por un período de tiempo prolongado, retire las pilas.
Utilice solo el adaptador CA especificado para esta balanza (el adaptador CA es
opcional.)
