Updating Your Firmware
Periodically, a new version of firmware for DivX Connected™ devices may become available with
improved functionality or added features that enhance your DivX Connected experience. Updating the
firmware is quick and easy.
When a device connects with the DivX Connected Server, the server checks the firmware version number
against the currently available firmware version. If a more recent firmware version is available, then an
update is requested.
When an update is available, the DivX Firmware Update screen is displayed with the question, "Update
Firmware Now?" To update the firmware, select 'Yes'.
The update process will begin immediately. The entire process takes approximately five minutes.
Important: Do not attempt to power off your device during the firmware update.
When the firmware is updated, you are prompted to power cycle, or restart, your device. Restart the
device to activate the updated firmware.
