    GETTInG STArTEd BATTErY InSTALLATIon 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit. Use a coin or screwdriver to loosen the screw. 3. Install 3 new “AA” size (LR6/AM-3) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box.

    ASSEMBLY InSTrucTIonS The VTech KidiKaraoke comes with an optional strap that can be ® attached or removed at any time. Follow the steps below to attach your strap. Turn over the unit. Insert one end of the strap through the slot on the right and the other end through the slot on the left as shown.

    ProducT FEATurES 1. POWER BUTTON Press the POWER BUTTON to turn the unit on. Press it again to turn the unit off. 2. REAL MICROPHONE Slide the MICROPHONE ON/OFF SWITCH to turn on the mic. You can sing with the music, play a game or put on a freestyle show.
  • Page 8 6. LIGHT-UP BUTTONS Press a LIGHT-UP BUTTON to choose a song or game in the selected mode. There’s even a surprise button that will pick a song or game at random! 7. VOICE BUTTON Press the VOICE BUTTON when a song is playing to turn off the voice track of the song.
  • Page 9 2. FREESTYLE FUN To put on a freestyle show, simply press the TALK BUTTON at any time. A cheering crowd animation will play on the screen as your child gets creative and puts on their own concert. 3. GAME TIME Move the MODE SELECTOR to the Game mode icon.
