11 My files

On the phone, all the files are stored under the
folders of the phone memory or memory card.

Finding your files

1. Go to
My
files.
2. Select
Phone
or
Memory
card, if you have
installed a memory card on your phone.
Select your desired file folder:
Pictures: for photos, .jpg files and others
Videos: for video files, and others
Audio: for audio files, like sound recording,
radio recording, music files, ringtones, and
others
Others: for all other files, like Ebook (for files
readable through
Tools
>
Text
reader), and
files received via the Bluetooth.

3. If necessary, open a folder, and press
Options
>
Sort by
to show files in the order
of name, type, time or size.

Managing your files

Create sub-folders
You can create sub-folders under the folders
(like Pictures, Videos,
Audio
and Others) or an
existing sub-folder.
1. Select a folder or sub-folder under which
you wish to create a folder.

2. Press
Options
>
New
folder.
3. In the editing screen, enter a file name.
Select your desired text entry methods (see
R
"Text entry" on page 13). Press
to exit
,
the input mode, if necessary. Press
Done
to finish editing.
A sub-folder is created.
