Alarms, reminders, programmed events are
time zone independent! If you set an alarm or an
event at 9:00 AM in time zone A, it will still ring
or be due at 9:00 AM if you change to time zone
B.

Text reader

This menu allows you to view the text file (.txt
file) saved in your phone or the memory card.
To view a file through the text reader,
1. Copy and save the file to
My files
>
Phone
Memory card
>
Others
> Ebook.
2. Go to
Tools
>
Text
reader.
3. If you have inserted a memory card into
L
your phone, press
Options
>
Global
settings
>
Select storage
to select the file
location:
Phone
or
Memory
card.
Existing files are listed. To display the files as
L
desired, press
Options
>
Sort
by.
4. To display a file correctly, select your
L
desired file, and press
Options
>
Global

> Encoding. Select the encoding
suitable to your language.
To search for information when viewing a
file
You can search for specific words, marked
information, or different parts of the file. After
L
opening the file, press
Options
to select:
• Find: Find specific words in the file.
Go
to
bookmark:
Go to
the
information. To do so, add a bookmark where
L
desired by pressing
Options
or
bookmark.
Jump
to: Go to the beginning, middle, or end
of the file. To skip a certain percentage of the
file, select
Input percentage
and press
to enter your desired percentage number.
To clear the files created by the system
during E-book reading

Clean up
bookshelf.
