Error Message
ROM This message appears if there is a
PROBLEM! problem with the machine's read
only memory.
TAB This message appears if the maxi-
LIMIT! mum number of tabs has already
been added to the text when you
hold down c and press Q.
TAPE This message appears if you try to
print a label or feed the tape when no
EMPTY!
tape cassette is installed.
TEXT TOO This message appears if the size of
HIGH! the text is larger than the width of the
installed tape when the Length func-
tion is used.
TEXT TOO This message appears if the length of
LONG! the text is longer than the label length
that has been set using the Length
function.
WRONG This message appears if a high-volt-
ADAPTER! age adaptor is being used.
WRONG This message appears if the cursor is
CHAR! not below a number when you try to
use the Numbering function.
Cause Remedy
Turn off the machine, and then
while holding down c and
R, turn the machine back on.
Contact your service representa-
tive.
Limit the number of tabs in the
text to 50.
Install a tape cassette and try
again.
Reduce the size of the characters
or install a wider tape.
Delete some of the text, reduce
the character width or increase
the set label length.
Remove the high-voltage adap-
tor and connect the adaptor
designed exclusively for this
machine.
Move the cursor below a
number before trying to use the
Numbering function.
