LifeBook Application Panel

A unique feature of your notebook is the LifeBook
Application Panel. The Application Panel makes your
LifeBook notebook more than just another computer.
This panel allows you to launch selected applications
with the touch of a button.
The panel consists of five buttons, labeled "My Home",
"Web Search", "A", "B", and "C". Pressing any of the
application buttons will launch a user-defined applica-
tion. The defaults are as follows:

CONFIGURING THE APPLICATION PANEL

When you start your system, the LifeBook Application
Panel is automatically activated. As an application
launcher, the LifeBook Application Panel is very flexible,
giving you a variety of options. To set up the panel to
best suit your needs, the Application Panel Setup utility
will quickly and easily help you make the most of this
valuable feature.
By default, pressing the "My Home" button will open
the Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation home page.
Pressing the "Web Search" button will open the Google
search page.

Pressing the "A" or "B" buttons will open Notepad and
Calculator, respectively. (Note that the "C" button is
initially unassigned).
Any of these button defaults can be changed using the
following procedure.

1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Double-click on Tablet PC Settings.
3, Select the Buttons tab.
4. Select the button for which you want to modify the
default application, then click the [Change] button.
5. Follow the instructions that appear to change the
application assigned to the button.
