Using the oven.

Toavoid possible bums, place the racks in the desired position before you turn the oven on.
The oven has 5 rack positions.
It also has a special low rack
position (R)for extra large items,
such as a large turkey.
Before You Begin...
The iacks have stop-locks, so fllat when
placed correctly on file rack supports
(A through E), they will stop before
coming completely out, and will not flit.
When placing
and removing
cookware,
pull flae rock out to flae bump
on flae
rack support.
Toremovea rack, pull it toward you, fllt the
flont end up and pull it out.
Toreplace,place file end of file rack
(stop-locks) on file support, flit up file
flont and push the rock in.
NOTE:Therackisnot designed to slideoutat the
specialbw rack(R) p osition.
Oven Control
Your oven is controlled by a single OVEN
CONTROL knob.
It Mll normally rake 30-90 seconds before
file fl_une comes on. Atker file oven reaches
the selecmd mmperamre,
the oven burner

Plastic items on the cooktop may
melt if left too close to the vent.

Power Outage (electric ignition models)
CAUTION: D o n ot make any
attempttooperatetheelectricignitionovenduring
an electrical p owerfailure.
The oven or broiler
cmmot
be lit during
a power failure.
Gas will not flow unless
the glow bar is hot.
ff the oven is in use when a power failure
occurs, the oven burner struts off and
cmmot be re-lit until power is restored.
This is because the flow of gas is
automaflcally stopped and will not resume
when power is restored until the glow bar
has reached operaflng mmperamre.
