3 Carefully lift the power-button board and release its cable from the slot on
the palm-rest assembly.

Replacing the Power-Button Board

Procedure
1 Slide the power-button board cable through the slot on the
palm-rest assembly.
2 Use the alignment posts on the palm-rest assembly to place the
power-button board in place.
3 Replace the screws that secure the power-button board to the
palm-rest assembly.
4 Adhere the power-button board cable to the palm-rest assembly.
