Additionally ensure that the User-ID API option has been checked. You will then see the
option below Configure that allows further configuration of the User-ID API settings.
From the User-ID API configuration screen, leave the default listening port as 5006 as this
is what the Amigopod default setting is in the Palo Alto Networks User-ID Services plugin.
Now returning to main screen by clicking on the User-ID Agent option at the top of the left
navigation pane a successful connection from the Palo Alto Networks firewall should be
displayed as shown below.
If the connection from the Palo Alto Networks firewall is not displayed in the Device
Connection List as shown below you should investigate general connectivity between
the Palo Alto Networks firewall and the Windows host along with any host based firewall
on Windows that might be blocking the inbound connections.
At this point, all of the configuration steps are complete and your deployment is now ready
for testing.
