Specify the Shooting settings.
Pressing buttons or selecting menu allows you to
specify Shooting functions. You can obtain the best
result for shooting.

Instant Zoom allows you to decide how
to frame a picture while seeing the
Instant Zoom area around your subject on the
screen. Instant Zoom is also quicker to
zoom than optical zoom (➝p.71).

Used for close-up shots (➝p.65).
Used for shots in dark locations or for
d Flash
backlit subjects, etc. (➝p.66).
Used to take a series of continuous
f Continuous
shots or to use auto bracketing (with
shooting
exposure compensation) (➝p.68).

Used for changing the image

Pressing this button allows you to
Intelligent Face focus on people's faces. Also, red-eye
