Configuration by Onboard RAID Controller (3.5-inch Disk Model)

This section describes how to use the internal hard disk drives as RAID System by Onboard RAID
Controller (LSI Embedded MegaRAID) of 3.5-inch disk model.
Installing the Hard Disk Drives
Install the two or more SAS hard disk drives to your server. See Chapter 9 for detail.
IMPORTANT:
addition, use two hard disk drives of the same capacity if you are going
to configure RAID1.
Enabling RAID Feature
To configure a hard disk drive as RAID System, change the BIOS setting or the RAID System
configuration jumper switch on mother board.

Use two hard disk drives of the same revolution. In
The RAID System is factory-set to "Enabled".
Do not disassemble, repair, or alter the server.
Do not remove the lithium battery.
Make sure to complete board installation.
Do not install the server on a rack with leaving covers removed.
Do not pinch your finger with mechanical components.
Note high temperature.
Do not pull out a device from the rack if the rack is unstable.
Do not leave more than one device being pulled out from the rack.
