Applying Auto Tone Correction

You can automatically optimize the highlight and shadow of an image.
To apply auto tone correction, follow the procedure below.

From the [Filter] menu in the image edit window, select [Auto Tone
Correction]. Alternatively, click [Auto Tone] on the toolbar in the [Image Edit]
window.
The edit setting panel shows the [Auto Tone Correction] options.

Select [Auto] or [Manual].
Tips
• At first, the edit setting panel shows the preview image to which [Auto] correction is applied.
• If you have selected [Auto], go to step 4.

If you have selected [Manual], drag the [Strength] slider to the left or right to
adjust the density.
Tips
• You can also click the edit box and directly enter a value using the keyboard. Press the Return key after entering a
value.
• Values can range from 0 to +100.

Click the [Apply] button.
The auto tone correction is applied to the image in the image display area.
