Setting the CAM : Using USB Mode

Transferring files to a computer

1. Connect the CAM to the PC with the
USB cable.
2. Move [POWER/MODE Selector]
down to turn on the CAM.
N USB mode screen appears
automatically.
3. Move the [W/T] button to select
<Mass Storage>
and press the [OK] button.
N Your PC doesn't recognise the USB device
automatically.
You may install the USB Driver manually on
Windows 98SE operating system.
4. Disconnect the USB cable if you finish
transferring.
Notes
✤ If you disconnect the USB cable from the PC or the CAM during
the data transfer, the data transfer will stop and the data may be
damaged.
✤ If you connect the USB cable to a PC using a USB HUB or with
other device at the same time, it might cause conflict and may not
work properly. If this occurs, remove all other devices and try the
connection again.
✤ If the CAM does not recognise the USB device when the USB
cable is connected to USB Port on the front panel of the PC,
connect the USB cable to USB Port on the rear panel of the PC.

4. Entfernen Sie das USB-Kabel nach
Hinweise
✤ Wenn Sie das USB-Kabel zwischen Camcorder und PC während
der Datenübertragung abziehen, wird die Datenübertragung
abgebrochen. Dabei können Daten beschädigt werden.
✤ Wenn Sie das USB-Kabel über einen USB-Hub an den PC
anschließen oder gleichzeitig andere USB-Geräte angeschlossen
sind, funktioniert die Verbindung möglicherweise nicht einwandfrei.
Trennen Sie in diesem Fall alle anderen USB-Geräte vom
Computer, und stellen Sie die USB-Verbindung erneut her.
✤ Sollte der Camcorder das USB-Gerät nicht erkennen, wenn das
USB-Kabel mit dem USB-Anschluss an der Frontblende
verbunden wird, verbinden Sie das USB-Kabel mit dem USB-
Anschluss auf der Rückseite des PCs.
1. Verbinden Sie den Camcorder über
ein USB-Kabel mit dem Computer.
2. Drücken Sie zum Einschalten des
Camcorders den Schalter
[POWER/MODE Selector] nach
unten.
N Der Bildschirm USB Mode (USB-
Modus) wird automatisch
eingeblendet.
3. Wählen Sie mit der Taste [W/T]
<Mass Storage> (Massenspeicher),
und drücken Sie die Taste [OK].
N Das USB-Gerät wird vom Computer nicht
automatisch erkannt.
Unter Windows 98 SE muss der USB-Treiber
manuell installiert werden.
Beendigung des Übertragungsvorgangs.
