Using the LCD monitor

The LCD monitor shows all important information regarding camera settings as well
as the visual image of your image or video. The display on the LCD monitor is called
the On Screen Display or OSD.

Description
Indicates the current mode.
Indicates flash settings.
Indicates Self-timer/Burst/AEB settings.
Displays zoom.
Indicates the remaining shots available.
Indicates battery level.
Indicates current storage media in use.
Reduces wind noise during movie recording.
Indicates video size.
Indicates the light is not enough and the camera is
shaking, which may cause the captured image
blurred. If the shake warning appears, you can still
capture images. However, enable Stabilizer,
flashlight or use tripod is recommended, these ways
will stabilize the camera.
Indicates date stamp is enabled.
Indicates stabilizer function is enabled.
Graphic display of Brightness.
Displays ISO settings.
Indicates focus area.
Displays shutter speed settings.
