  • Page 9 Cooling System On/Off Button TURNING THE COOLING SYSTEM ON AND OFF You can disable the cooling system in your refrigerator by pressing the On/Off button located on the left side of the temperature control panel. To ensure that you do not accidentally turn off the cooling system, the button does not work unless you press and hold it for three seconds.

    Shelves may break suddenly if nicked, scratched, or exposed to sudden temperature change. CANTILEVER SHELF ADJUSTMENT Refrigerator shelves are easily adjusted to suit individual needs. Before adjusting the shelves, remove all food. Cantilever shelves are supported at the back of the refrigerator.

    The fresh food compartment should be kept between 34° F and 40° F with an optimum temperature of 37° F. • Avoid overcrowding the refrigerator shelves. This reduces the circulation of air around the food and results in uneven cooling.

    IMPORTANT: Your ice maker is turned On at the factory so it can work as soon as you install your refrigerator. To ensure proper function of your ice maker, connect a water supply immediately or turn the On/Off switch to the Off (“O”) position.

Always unplug the electrical power cord from the wall outlet before cleaning.
