Stop Watch Operation

Your Taylor® thermometer is equipped with a stop watch
feature. The stop watch will count up to 59 minutes and 59
seconds, before starting over again at 0. To set the stop watch:
1. Press "Read" button.
2. Press "Mode" button four times, until the clock (
appears on the right side of the screen.
3. Press "Read" button to start the stop watch.
a) For the first 30 minutes, seconds and minutes will count
off at the top of the screen. Hundredths of a second will
count off in the bottom of the screen.
b) After 30 minutes, hours and minutes will count off at the
top of the screen. Tenth of a second will count off in the
bottom of the screen.
4. To pause the stop watch, press "Read". To resume, press
"Read" again. To reset the stop watch to zero, press
"Mode". To return to the temperature display, press
"Read" to pause the stop watch, then "Mode".
5. After approximately 30 seconds of stop watch inactivity,
the thermometer will automatically return to the
temperature/clock display.

Low Battery Warning

Your Taylor® Digital Infrared Thermometer is equipped with
a low battery indicator. Replace the battery when "Battery
Low" or "Battery Expired" icons appear on the LCD screen.
