The automatic transmission 3 makes
automatic gearchanges possible
(automatic mode).
The engine can only be started when the
gear selector is in position P or N. When
starting in position N, depress the foot
brake or apply the handbrake. After
starting the engine, depress the brake
before selecting a gear. Do not accelerate
whilst selecting a gear. If a gear has been
selected and the brake is released, the
vehicle will "creep". Never operate the
accelerator and the brake pedal
simultaneously. The selected gear is
displayed in the transmission display.
