Remove the outer rear head restraints.
Push the centre head restraint all the
way down – see page 88.
Stow the removed head restraints in the
cavity below the raised seat cushions.

Disengage the backrest (single or split)
using the sliders, fold it forward and
engage.

Fold down the armrest, pulling the strap
obliquely down (i.e. at an angle of 45°).
Pull the handle and fold down the cover.
Folding down the cover makes it possible
to load long, narrow objects. The outer
seats can still be used for occupants.

Warning
The load must not hinder handbrake
operation or gearshifting.
To restore, fold the armrest back in
position.
