Light switch

Turn adjuster wheel:
AUTO = automatic light control:
exterior lighting is switched
on and off automatically
depending on external
lighting conditions.
= activation or deactivation

Tail lights
Tail lights are illuminated together
with the low beam and the sidelights.

Automatic light control

Automatic light control function
When the automatic light control
function is switched on and the
ignition is switched on, the system
switches between daytime running
light and low beam depending on the
lighting conditions.
Daytime running light
Daytime running light increases
visibility of the vehicle during daylight.
While the daytime running light is
active, the tail lights and the sidelights
are switched off.
If the ignition is switched on and the
vehicle is stopped, the daytime
running light can be turned off by
moving the shift lever to P. The
daytime running light will stay off until
the shift lever is moved out of P.
Please regard that the low beam
should be turned on when needed.
