Preface
This manual describes how to install and use the provided
Fast Ethernet Switch, which features eight ports
100BASE-FX Multi-mode fiber ports, six ports 100BASE-
FX plus two ports 10/100BASE-TX switching is also
available for this product series.
To get the most out of this manual, you should have an
understanding of networking concepts such as bridging,
IEEE 802.3 Ethernet and 100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet,
and local area networks (LANs).
