    10-15 seconds, initialization is successful when the LED comes back on. If the Ready LED ever goes off, power-off then power-on the USB Over IP. It is recommended to unplug all devices from the USB Over IP during it's initialization/bootup sequence.

    Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to an available RJ45 port on your Ethernet switch or hub. Plug the power adapter into the USB Over IP, then plug the power adapter into a reliable power source. Wait for the USB Over IP to complete it's initialization/bootup sequence and the Ready LED to light up before proceeding to the next section.

    This section provides information on how to install the USB Over IP drivers. 3-1.1 Windows XP Connect the USB Over IP to your network and boot up Windows. At the Windows desktop insert the driver CD. Autorun should start the installation, if not, click Start, then Run.

The Status will change to Connected. Depending on the device, Windows will either automatically install a driver for it or prompt you for a driver.
