Digital recordings with DR Box 1

Since Digital Radio enters the computer in a computer format using the USB connection, it can
be recorded without loss of quality. To do so, the recording format must first be specified in
the "Settings" menu:
PCM (WAV)
MPEG Audio Layer (MP2)
Alternative format
Next, you should specify where you would like to save the recordings so that you can locate
them after the recording is finished. The default directory is "Record" in the program directory
of DR Box 1. Clicking [>>] allows you to create another directory.
Finally, you can specify the time buffered before the recording so that the final seconds prior
to recording are also stored on the hard disk. This feature is usually only part of expensive MD
recorders. Its advantage is: If a song that you sought for a long time suddenly plays without
DR Box 1 (English)
uncompressed audio format (16 bit, 48 kHz)
the Digital Radio format (can be played, e.g. using the enclosed
MusicMatch Jukebox)
allows you to select alternative formats for recording.
