Service Details

To check or replace the ignition module
Electrical componentry and the electronic ignition pack are
primarily located at the rear of the Upright Cooker. Removal
of the back panel is straightforward.
IMPORTANT: First ensure that gas and electrical power
are disconnected before performing any service to this
appliance.
Using a Philips Head screwdriver remove the eight screws
on the perimeter of the rear panel.
Then remove the rear panel. Replacement is a reversal of
the above procedure.
Care must be taken to ensure that no damage occurs to
the spark ignition leads or the igniters.
Assembly is a reversal of the above procedure.
Service schedule
To keep your cooker running smoothly, we recommend that
you have your cooker serviced every 5 years by an author-
ised service agent.
Never use unauthorised technicians and never accept re-
placement parts which are not original.

To check or replace the gas controls and gas
manifold
Removal of the gas manifold is initially accomplished by
removing the control knobs, the trivets, the burner caps and
burner head assemblies and skirts.
IMPORTANT: First ensure that gas and electrical power
are disconnected before performing any service to this
appliance.
Using a Philips Head screwdriver remove the control panel
securing screws and then remove the control panel. Care
must be taken to ensure that no damage occurs to the
spark ignition leads or the igniters.
Disconnect all ancillary gas piping.
Remove the two screws on each side of the control panel
that locates the gas manifold to the side panels. The gas
manifold may then be extracted.
Replacement is a reversal of the above procedure.
ALWAYS PERFORM A LEAK CHECK AFTER PERFORM-
ING ANY SERVICE ON THE GAS COMPONENTS OF THIS
COOKER. Correct procedure is described in the post-in-
stallation checks (page 5)
