The PnP specification suggests a standard register interface for both BIOS and operating system
(such as Windows 95). These registers are used by BIOS and operating system to configure
system resource and prevent any conflicts. PnP BIOS or operating system will automatically
allocate the IRQ/DMA/Memory. Currently, almost all the PCI cards and most ISA cards are already
