10 Installation

Mounting the CAM-1000

You can mount the CAM-1000 directly to a surface, or you can use a wall or ceiling
mount. (See Figure 1.) To mount the pan/tilt head:
Select a surface capable of supporting the combined weight (refer to
1.
Specifications) of the unit, camera, lens, and cable drag.
Mount the unit.

To mount the CAM-1000 directly onto the surface, drill four holes according
to the mounting pattern (see Figure 14 in Specifications) and secure the
CAM-1000 using four 1/4" x 20 machine bolts with lock-washers.
To mount the CAM-1000 using the (optional) WM-CAM and four 1/4" x 20
machine bolts with lock-washers, secure the wall mount and fasten the
CAM-1000. (You do not need to use an interface plate.)
Mount and balance the camera on the CAM-1000.
