• If you press Silence, only the
ringing tone is muted. You can
either answer or reject the call.
To end the call, press
the fold.
If a compatible headset supplied
with the headset key is connected to
the phone, you can answer and end a
call by pressing the headset key.

■ Options during a call

Many of the options that you can
select during a call are network
services. To check availability,
contact your network operator or
service provider.
During a call some of the following
options may be available:
Mute
or Unmute,
all
calls, Contacts,
Hold
or Unhold,
Record, Equaliser,
(network service),
Reject.
Conference
to make a conference
call that allows up to five persons
to participate (network service).
Auto volume on
off
to set the automatic volume
control on or off. See
settings"
on page 43.
Send DTMF
to send DTMF (Dual
Tone Multi-Frequency) tone
strings, for example, passwords
or bank account numbers.

Swap
to switch between the
active call and the call on hold
(network service),
connect a call on hold to an
active call, and disconnect
yourself from the calls (network
service).
Loudspeaker
to use the phone as
a loudspeaker during a call. Do
not hold the phone to your ear
during loudspeaker operation as
the volume may be extremely
loud.

on page 49.
Note that when you have
activated loudspeaker, you can
also close the fold of the phone
during a call. First Press
and then close the fold within 5
seconds.
