tariffs of these browser services with
your network operator and/or the
service provider. They will also give you
instructions on how to use their
services.
With your phone's multi-mode
browser you can view services that use
Wireless Mark-Up Language (WML) or
extensible HyperText Markup
Language (xHTML) on their pages.
Basic steps for accessing and
using browser services
1. Save the settings that are needed
to access the service that you want
to use. See page 47.
2. Make a connection to the given
service. See page 48.
3. Start browsing the pages of the
service. See page 49.
4. Once you are finished browsing,
end the connection to the service.

Setting up the phone for a
browser service
You may receive the service settings as
an Over The Air (OTA) message from
the network operator or service
provider that offers the service you
want to use. You can also key in the
settings manually or define and edit
them with Nokia PC Suite.
For more information and the
appropriate settings, contact your
network operator or service provider
that offers the service. The settings
may be available, for example, on their
website.
Saving the service settings
received as a message
• To save the received settings, press
Options
and select Save.
• To view or discard the received
settings, press
Options
View
or Discard.
Keying in the service settings
manually
1. In the
Services
menu, select
Settings,
Connection settings
Active service
settings.
2. Scroll to the connection set you
want to activate and press
Activate. A connection set is a
collection of settings needed to
make a connection to a service.
