^ Fit the tube with the square hole
facing upwards into the vacuum
cleaner housing and gently twist until
it engages.
To remove the tube:
^ Press the release catch (see inset)
and pull off with a gentle twist.
^ Fit the hand piece with the square
hole facing upwards into the tube /
telescopic tube and gently twist until
it engages.
To detach the two parts,
^ Press the release catch (see arrow)
and pull the hand piece off with a
gentle twist.
The hand piece can also be fitted
directly to the vacuum cleaner housing.
The cleaner is then easier to use, e.g.
for vacuuming mattresses and
upholstery.
