Operating the dishwasher

Additional option

Drying fan running time

During the drying phase, as long as the
door of the dishwasher remains closed,
moist air is expelled through the
ventilation outlet for the drying fan. The
drying fan running time can be
increased to avoid the risk of damage
to a worktop fitted above the
dishwasher. If this option is selected,
the fan will continue to run for approx.
14 minutes after the end of a
programme.
Activating and deactivating
increased drying fan running time:
^ Switch the dishwasher off using the
"On/Off" button.
^ Turn the programme selector to the
"Stop" position.
^ Press the "Start" button in and whilst
holding it in switch the dishwasher
on using the "On/Off" button. Release
the "Start" button within two seconds.
The "Salt" indicator light will flash.
Warning:
If a different indicator light comes on or
flashes, the process must be repeated.
Exception:
The "Rinse aid" indicator light will come
on if you have not yet added rinse aid
or if rinse aid needs replenishing.

^ Turn the programme selector to the "9
o'clock" position.
– If the "Start" indicator light does not
come on:
the fan running time is not increased,
– If the "Start" indicator light does
come on:
the fan running time is increased.
^ Press the "Start" button to change the
setting.
Depending on the previous setting the
"Start" indicator light will either come on
or go out.
^ Turn the programme selector to the
"Stop" position.
^ Switch the dishwasher off using the
"On/Off" button.
The change is now stored in memory.
